New Year's Eve Celebrations 2009

Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism invite you to join the village for a New Year's Eve Celebration with music on the harbour from 9pm until 12.30am with fireworks at midnight ( by kind permission of the Saundersfoot Harbour Commission and financial support by Saundersfoot Community Council) Saundersfoot is the place to be to celebrate the end of 2008 and welcome in 2009

New Year's Day Swim 2009 starting at 11.30am and organised by the Saundersfoot Festivities Committee and celebrating the 25th year of the swim. Whether you are a local or visiting Saundersfoot why not join hundreds of people in a dash to the sea and raise money for the charity of your choice. The 2008 swim attracted thousands of spectators and over 800 swimmers braved the cold to raise over £25,000 for charity.

There are prizes for the best fancy dress and teams of four and over get the prestigious Blue Tit Award. Every swimmer is presented with a commemorative medal. Pick up your sponsorship form from a village pub, Evans Newsagent, Walk on Water or contact Martyn Williams on 01834 813039
